Welcome! My name is Lindsey McAlister aka CRAFTY BITCH.
Born in the UK, I have lived & created in Hong Kong for 35 years.
As the founder of the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation, I have been a pioneer in the arts focusing primarily on the performing arts; creative writing, devising & creating theatre and dance. I had the honour of being recognised in 2006 as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for my commitment & contribution to UK arts overseas. Recently, I have been called back to my roots and have set up a visual arts studio in our home.
I have been exploring analog & digital collages creating both original & digital artworks. I find Hong Kong a constant inspiration & stimulation. HK is my home & I want to celebrate its uniqueness, vibrancy & energy in these tiny bites of HK's culture.
