Story of the product: Pen & watercolour artwork of a jumbo jet between apartment buildings over Kowloon City as it lands at Kai Tai Airport before it’s closing in July 1998. This is similar to how I first came to Hong Kong which was also my first flight in my life. I remember as we descended into Hong Kong, I was able to see people watching their TV’s inside the apartments! And I was wondering if we were going to land in the street! Such an amazing memory. This illustration was created with the kind permission of the photograher Mr. Daryl Chapman upon who’s original iconic photo titled: ‘Cathay Pacific, 747-367, VHH, Kai Tak, Hong Kong’ this artwork is based. Further details are available upon request.
