Vertical City - Art Print

Story of the product: Watercolour painting showing the view from the top of a city tower on Seymour Road, Mid Levels overlooking Victoria Harbour and across to the Kowloon peninsula. The painting process took place over 3 weeks, working from my own photograph. For this piece I worked from left to right and from top to bottom. The ‘sky’ and the ‘harbour’ use a ‘wet on wet’ watercolour technique where the different colour pigments intentionally mix together on the page to create the blended effect. The distant Kowloon Peninsula buildings and the foreground buildings were painted using a ‘dry on wet’ painting technique in order to achieve accuracy and detail. One more thing, somewhere in this picture is a red Hong Kong taxi. Can you find it?

Additional shipping and delivery information: A2 Prints will be posted rolled in a protective tube using local Hong Kong post or courier service.
