After considerable research into a sustainable fabrics for our boxers, we got pretty comfortable with Modal (you will too when you try them on).
Modal is a semi-synthetic fabric made from the pulp of Beech trees, the manufacturing process uses a closed loop system which limits waste, and which requires much less land area and water use than cotton. The resulting fabric is breathable, absorbent, durable and incredibly soft to touch - perfect qualities for our boxers, oh and it’s also completely biodegradable.
In an attempt to limit plastic packaging, these boxers come in a bamboo tube which can subsequently be used however you like, but work well as a sunglasses case, piggy bank, plant pot etc.
Taking care of your boxers: we recommend washing in cold water (<40 degrees) and not tumble drying.
