Carp-Diem
The word ‘fish' sounds similar to the word ‘abundance’ in Chinese, and fish have therefore traditionally been regarded a symbol of wealth. Ornamental carp are a common sight in the ponds that decorate many of the temples and gardens in Hong Kong where they frequently drift between lotus pads, offering an oasis of tranquility in the frantic city. These carp offer an important reminder to pause in the bustle and live in the present.

Story of the product:
Hand designed in Hong Kong, Haishang (海上) means 'at sea' and was created in celebration of Hong Kong's natural beauty. All Haishang swim shorts are made from recycled PET plastic bottles, with approximately 10 bottles used to make each pair. Haishang is passionate about and supports keeping Hong Kong's beaches clean, helping as much as possible to preserve one of our city’s greatest attractions!
